About WaveVisual
I'm Ozan Tunca. I started WaveVisual in Berlin in 2020 because I was making music and the waveform tools I found were a pain to use. The editor runs in the browser. You can try a design before you make an account, then download a print, a file, or a video.
People use it for wedding songs, a new baby's heartbeat, memorials, and album covers. Thousands of people use it each month. How-tos and gift ideas are on the blog.
What I work on
Sergey Zelenov built the mobile app that used to go with the site. We stopped shipping it, and I don't maintain it.
On the website I do the editor, the exports, billing, and support. I still make music in the same editor. If a print comes out soft, or a Spotify track won't load, I usually notice on my own stuff first. When Spotify or a license limits a feature, the site says so.
Since 2020
- 2020. The editor launched in the browser, with downloads.
- Thousands of people a month use it now, including shops reselling on Etsy. Paid exports include commercial use. The terms explain what that covers.
- You can export vector, PDF, and video when the design supports it, plus templates, QR codes, and sizes meant for print.
- Reviews are public, including on Trustpilot. Refunds follow the policy on the site.
Other projects
A few other sites I run:
- WaveMotion— free audio-reactive music visualizer
- PrettyQR— free, design-forward QR codes
